CONNECTIONS81.2 : Part 1 took place over a 3-day event May 18-20, 2018. Six Design Teams were established and the teams spent all day developing ideas and solutions for the design prompt outlined, using the project goals, and following the guidance of local community members addressing these issues at the ground level. All ideas were developed using a "30,000 foot lens", zoomed out enough to address the site's relationship to the city, the site's history and legacy, and the use of the programs on the site today. Below are the results of this initial design workshop.
During CONNECTIONS81.2 : Part 2, we will use some of the overlapping themes and innovative ideas presented to dive deeper into a possible solution for this site.
